Description
Kohler's two new glass lavatory collections, Salute and Yepsen, are contemporary introductions that are a part of Kohler’s Artist Editions, harnessing art, craftsmanship, and innovation. Salute and Yepsen glass sinks are crafted by a small team of artisans in Kohler, WI. Balancing artistry with enduring craftsmanship, Salute and Yepsen invite consumers to celebrate beauty and creativity. As functional works of art, the Artist Editions allows for the creation of a space that is entirely unique. The Artist Edition sinks are handcrafted in small batches by expert glassmakers, featuring bubbles, textures, and other markings, unique to each individual piece. The glass material provides a strong durable surface that is easy to clean yet visually distinctive.
The Salute round vessel takes cues from a champagne coupe glass. Salute means “cheers'' in Italian, a nod to the design inspiration. The interplay of refracting light, cut glass, and water casts beautiful shadows and creates a unique glow. The glass lavatory is available in translucent colorways that add a subtle touch of color. Salute is offered in Ice, Translucent Dew, Translucent Doe, Translucent Dusk, Translucent Sapphire, Translucent Sandalwood and Translucent Stone.
The Yepsen bathroom sink combines a linear pattern with angled seams, creating a design across the exterior wall of this rounded-rectangular basin reminiscent of the carved textures on marble and architectural facades. Like ripples in a pool, the sink’s distinctive ridges draw the eye to the core of this artisan-crafted centerpiece, while also concealing items stored beneath it. Yepsen is an undermount bathroom sink, available in both translucent and opaque colorways, including Translucent Dew, Translucent Doe, Translucent Dusk, Translucent Sapphire, Translucent Sandalwood, Translucent Stone, and Dusk, Dew, Doe, Sapphire, Sandwood, and Stone.
