Description
Part of Radno̲r Made, the June Credenza designed by Adam Rogers combines a mastery of familiar woodworking techniques with daring experimentation. By centering process and precision, Rogers aims to create pieces that tell the story of their own making — typically beginning by foregrounding a key design detail. For the June collection, that detail is the lap joint. “A joint by definition is additive, and celebrating that connection is the focal point of the June pieces,” Rogers says.
Exhibiting complexity and incredible precision, the piece is, at heart, the sum of a series of panels, and each panel is the sum of several smaller parts. The seamless merging of these manifold elements is evidence of a woodworker working at the height of the craft. June draws sophistication and intrigue from this deft balancing of the subtractive process of machine sculpting with the fundamentally additive nature of the joints and planes. The result is not only a technical marvel but a piece that embodies a personal vision of beautiful living.
The June Credenza is handmade with Natural Maple wood and was created in the United States. Radno̲r and Adam Roger’s created the piece for clients who enjoy design and handcrafted pieces in their homes.
