Comprise has an overall scale and proportion that works well across a wide range of healthcare applications, with a design that accommodates a variety of body types and sizes. Comprise provides a generous and comfortable seat for extended periods of time, in addition to being efficient in smaller spaces.

The touch and feel of Comprise is most appreciated in the easy-grip loop arms, which provide users with a comfortable and secure grasp when getting in and out of the chair. The ergonomically contoured, injection molded arms eliminate the need for separate armcaps and hardware, reducing catch points and simplifying cleaning for better infection prevention control. The same benefits apply to the easy-to-clean shape of the legs.

Optional sealed seams or a moisture barrier on the seat supports performance requirements for acute, ambulatory and long-term care environments. The design includes a cleanout space between the seat and back cushions, with a limited number of connection points, materials and upholstery seams to simplify cleaning and infection prevention control.

Two textile specifications are available for seats and backs. Arms, legs and rails are available in a contemporary neutral palette, complementing a wide range of textile selections and interior finishes.

Comprise is available with tamperproof power and charging outlets that can be mounted above or below the table tops, keeping devices charged up as people move through their day. Available in both White and Black with several port combinations and sizes.

Comprise is offered in two back heights and is also available in a selection of freestanding seating models and tables for quick specification in waiting areas, community spaces, dining areas and consultation rooms.

Modular multiseat layouts can be configured to suit design and space occupancy requirements. Connecting tables support linear, 90° and 120° planning. To minimize downtime, seats, backs, arms and legs can be reconfigured or replaced on-site without additional hardware or specialized tools. Components are non-handed—making assembly, reconfiguration, and repair quick and efficient.

Comprise arms and legs feature an internal steel structure that provides a metal-to-metal connection to the steel rails supporting the seat and back. The composite nylon arms and legs are impermeable, resisting chipping, rusting and fading. The series has an active weight capacity of 400 lbs. per seat (600 lbs. for bariatric seating), is BIFMA Level 3 certified, and is backed by Global’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.
