Product/Collection Name: XLERATOR® Hand Dryer

About This Product: The XLERATOR® Hand Dryer didn’t simply improve the hand dryer; it revolutionized the category. Designed and manufactured by Excel Dryer in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, XLERATOR pioneered the high-speed, energy-efficient hand drying category, challenging the perception of conventional hand dryers as slow and inefficient. Twenty-five years later, its enduring design continues to address three priorities shaping today’s commercial restrooms: hygiene, sustainability and cost savings.

Made In USA Certified, XLERATOR reflects Excel Dryer’s longstanding commitment to American manufacturing, craftsmanship and innovation. Our dedicated manufacturing team takes immense pride in building our products in America. We are supporting domestic jobs, strengthening our economy, and delivering sustainable, hygienic, and high-performance solutions to the world. From responsible sourcing to final assembly, every step of our process reflects the values that define our American manufacturing story.

For many of our employees, the best part is when a friend or family member says, “I saw your dryer!” There’s something special about being able to say, “I helped make that.” It’s not just a job, it’s a shared accomplishment, one that speaks to the quality, care, and heart behind every product we send out the door.

The introduction of the XLERATOR dryer transformed the restroom experience by combining high-speed performance with energy efficiency in a durable, touchless fixture engineered for demanding commercial environments. Today, XLERATOR dries hands in just 8 seconds and features adjustable speed, sound and heat controls, multi-voltage options and an externally visible service LED. Multiple cover materials, finishes and custom-image options also give architects and designers the flexibility to integrate XLERATOR into virtually any restroom aesthetic.

Hygiene is equally integral to the design. Touchless sensor activation creates a hands-free drying experience, while fast, complete drying supports proper hand hygiene. For an additional level of filtration, XLERATOR is available with an Electrostatic HEPA (eHEPA®) Filtration System independently tested to remove 99.999% of viruses and 99.97% of potentially present bacteria at 0.3 microns from the airstream. A washable pre-filter helps protect the filtration system and supports ongoing maintenance.

XLERATOR also reimagined the environmental and economic impact of hand drying by offering facilities an alternative to the continuous consumption, disposal and maintenance associated with single-use paper towels. It delivers a 95% cost savings versus single-use paper towels while eliminating paper towel waste and the labor required to continually refill dispensers and empty overflowing waste bins. A third-party, peer-reviewed Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) found that Excel Hand Dryers can reduce carbon footprint by up to 94% compared with single-use recycled paper towels. Plus, these dryers have Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and Health Product Declarations (HPDs) for complete product transparency.

Made in America and engineered to perform around the world, XLERATOR demonstrates the lasting power of purposeful design. By transforming hand drying into a faster, more hygienic, sustainable and cost-effective experience, XLERATOR didn't just introduce a new product, it helped redefine what a commercial hand dryer could be.
