About This Product: At once geometric and organic, Geo gains its multifaceted character from a dynamic structure, a large scale, and a sophisticated color palette. As the weave changes directions, it reveals more of the yarns in either the warp or the weft, creating discrete polygonal shapes filled with shifting textures. This commercial-grade modular flooring (tiles and planks) and rugs can be mixed and matched with the collection’s broadloom flooring, wall textiles, and window coverings.

With Geo, the Chilewich design team sought to soften and animate geometric shapes on a scale typically reserved for organic forms. Inscribed diagonal lines work in tandem with the dynamic weave structure to create a lively surface quieted a single unifying color. Geo is named for its arrangement of points, lines, and solids as well as its resemblance to naturally occurring rocks and minerals such as geodes, which are lined with crystals. Geo debuts in six tonal colorways: Bronzite, Dolomite, Earthen Red, Granite, Olivine, and Tanzanite.

Durable and bleach cleanable, Geo floor tiles (18” square) and planks (6” x 26”) feature durable and bleach cleanable woven textiles bonded to an innovative EarthFelt backing system, which features an integrated moisture barrier to prevents stains from penetrating and represents 51% reduction in carbon emissions compared to legacy backing systems. Chilewich has been granted U.S. Patent 7,326,661 for this innovative approach to modular flooring. Tiles may be installed in monolithic, ashlar, brick, or quarter-turn/checkerboard configurations, while planks may be installed in monolithic, staggered, or herringbone configurations.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, Geo rugs feature a flexible latex underlayer. This durable, commercial-grade backing is made with 18% recycled content and helps to protect floors while providing enhanced slip resistance and comfort underfoot. Each rug is finished by hand with self-bound edges—made by folding the face fabric over the edge of the backing and sewing it into place—to ensure a clean look.

Grove modular flooring and rugs are made in the USA with TerraStrand: extruded yarns that contain recycled content as well as rapidly renewable content derived from soybeans. They are free of phthalates and certified by UL Greenguard. They will also be among the first Chilewich products to incorporate the advanced enzymatic technology of Worry Free Plastics, which enables the textiles to safely depolymerize at their end of life, leaving no microplastics behind and ultimately returning to the earth as nutrient-rich soil.
