Description
Product/Collection Name: Robbins® Timber Legends™ Densified Hardwood™
About This Product: AHF Products, a leading hard surface flooring manufacturer for the residential and commercial markets, introduces Timber Legends™ Densified Hardwood™, under the Robbins® brand. Timber Legends™ is available in six unique wood species – Pine, Ash, Cherry, Walnut, Maple, and Red Maple and uses the company’s patented technology of heat and pressure to create a revolutionary ‘densified’ hardwood floor that’s 100% natural wood. Timber Legends Densified Hardwood doesn’t feature fillers, plastics, or harsh chemicals to harden the wood.
Timber Legends pays homage to Longleaf pine, known for its dense, strong, and rot/insect/resistant wood. Nearly logged to extinction in the 1990s, only a small fraction of the original forests remain today. In collaboration with Menominee Tribal Enterprises, known for sustainable logging practices for 160 years, Timber Legends is made from a readily available and managed resource that will be available for future generations. The new Heart Pine is 6x harder that traditional pine and is enhanced to be the most scratch and dent resistant wood flooring available – and with a sustainability story that is equally as exciting.
The Timber Legends™ Densified Wood™ Technology Advantage:
• 6X More Dent Resistant Than Traditional Engineered Hardwood: You won’t have to worry about dropping a pan onto the floor or having kids slam their toys. The densified engineered floors ward off dents from those types of impacts. As a result, floors will stay looking new for longer.
• 4X More Scratch Resistance Than Traditional Engineered Hardwood: Timber Legends™ has equivalent performance to SPC rigid core and laminate flooring, both known for their superior scratch resistance. And the densified engineered wood offers far more substantial scratch protection than solid or traditional engineered hardwood flooring.
• Cleantivity™ antimicrobial coating technology guards against everyday germs. The coating inhibits the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew and protects against odor, damage and discoloration that may be caused by mold or mildew.
• Made in the U.S.: Densified wood floors are proudly made in Somerset, Kentucky.
