In a world of straight-edged and straight-laced tile, the collection's Rough-Cut Mosaics stand out: these chunks of honed stone and marble with irregular edges are both sophisticated and raw.

An homage to one of our favorite architects and designers – Carlo Scarpa – our Rough-Cut Mosaics are offered mounted, accommodating two different grout joint sizes: narrow (for a more restrained but still striking look) and wide to highlight the irregular edges and add greater drama.

Designed by clé founder Deborah Osburn, the Lapidary Collection is a nod to seventies Milan and our reverence of classic Italian architecture and its artistic use of stone. As a whole, the Lapidary Collection embodies the grandeur and romance of the art and craft of lapidary where precious stones are skillfully fashioned from blocks into more opulent gem-like shapes with sculpted surfaces that reveal the subtleties of veining within each material.

Lapidary Collection's Rough-Cut Mosaics come in jade green, verde marble, thassos, calacatta viola and gold, basalt, rojo alicante, beige travertine, red travertine, carrara, and white limestone.
