Description
Following her 2012 Perennials fabric collection, iconic designer Rose Tarlow returns with a new collection of 100% solution-dyed acrylic (SDA) fabrics and rugs. Perennials by Rose Tarlow debuts eight fabric qualities and four flatwoven rug designs informed by Tarlow’s lived-in elegant style.
Perennials aims to whisk clients away to the English countryside for Fall 2023. Perennials by Rose Tarlow introduces two new plaids allowing for endless pattern play. “I like something in a room that has a little eccentricity and personality,” explains Tarlow. Garden Row is a delicate multicolor plaid that adds a touch of refinement with nuanced textured lines. Garden Row is launching in six colorways, including two new hues, Beeswax and Blue Heaven. A play on ikat, Huckleberry Trellis is a striated plaid jacquard that results in an elevated stripe. Huckleberry Trellis is debuting in five colorways like Blue Spruce, a new rich blue-green color. A small-scale pattern that plays well with others, Willow Way is a charming fabric featuring embroidered-like dashes in a range of hues like Chartreuse and Sable.
Perennials by Rose Tarlow includes performance jacquard qualities that enhance indoor upholstery, drapery and accessories with exquisite texture. Bramblewood is a jacquard featuring an all-over abstract dash pattern with rhythmic appeal. Bramblewood is available in five quiet hues, including Bluestone, Shell and Apricot. Another abstract pattern, Stepping Stones showcases an organic ikat circle and square striated check design. The jacquard debuts in four colorways taken from the countryside: Parchment, Bluestone, Apricot, and Matcha. Reminiscent of antique embroidery, Hedge Hunt is a jacquard with geometric pattern on a luxuriously textured background. Hedge Hunt is available in four colorways like Sable and Grass.
At home in a stately country house a la Somerset or Oxfordshire, Foxglove Lane is a tone-on-tone check design that is created using finely woven 100% SDA yarns. The resulting fabric resembles a vintage raw silk textile. Foxglove Lane launches in five colorways: Beeswax, Apricot, Bluestone, Shell, and Blue Spruce. On the texture front, Perennials by Rose Tarlow debuts Rock Wall, a chunky fabric with linear linen-like appearance, offered in 12 colorways - both tonal and contrasting. Additionally, the Fall 23 collection introduces nine new Tatton Stripe colorways. Tatton Stripe is a classic ticking stripe with a worn vintage quality, and has been a best-seller since launching with Tarlow’s original Perennials collection. New colorways include Saffron, Matcha, Beeswax, and Blue Spruce.
“For over a decade, it has been a joy to work with Rose Tarlow on various Perennials and Sutherland collections,” says Ann Sutherland, Founder and Chief Creative Director, Perennials. “Rose’s soft sophistication is everything Perennials embodies as a brand. Great design that is both enduring and comfortable.”
