Description
Ocular is a collection of tables that create more equitable and engaging meeting experiences for in person and remote meeting participants. Each table shape was designed to optimize three aspects of sightlines that come together to deliver better hybrid experiences -- people to people, people to camera and people to screens. Along with improved sightlines, the surface apertures of the Ocular table collection flexibly support the technology required to enable virtual meetings to run effortlessly.
- Arc7: The unique curved shape of this Ocular table, originally co-designed with Microsoft for their Teams Front Row experience, provides equitable sightlines to screens for all in-person participants while providing remote participants a clear view of everyone in the room. Arc7 is best for medium-sized conference rooms and supports informative and evaluative meetings with seven seated participants.
- Coupe5: A two-piece coupe shaped table that can comfortably seat five. This Ocular table is designed for small conference rooms and features a tech ready aperture, legless base, and contrasting multi-material worksurface.
- Coupe3: A single-piece coupe shaped table optimized for smaller generative meetings in huddle and focus spaces. This Ocular table can comfortably seat three participants and also features a tech ready aperture, legless base, and can support the housing, routing, and mounting of meeting room technology components.
The Ocular table collection was developed upon four key principles focused to deliver truly immersive video collaboration experiences within the commercial interior: equity, sightlines, fluid movement and tech access.
The tables are designed to integrate technology to support high-performance hybrid collaboration applications. Each Ocular table is designed to manage the routing, housing and mounting of the tech in the space, the unique base discretely allows for tech to be mounted and routed to the user. The tech pods allow for the management of cords and can bring power and data to the user.
