Inspired by the use of materials -- wood, leather, and brass -- and honoring their simplicity through precise detailing and execution, the result is a light fixture that celebrates and confidently exposes the materials through clever design applications, instead of the common need to hide fasteners and connections.

“When designing Penna, I wanted to illuminate the wood body of the fixture to showcase the grain with a continuous linear light source that would deliver diffuse ample light without point sources,” says designer Nick Sheridan. “The way the sloped wood body emulates the leather strapping used in the fixture’s suspension creates harmony and balance in the fixture’s silhouette.”

The Penna collection, is comprised of a pendant fixture and a wall sconce, is intended to be used in myriad applications. The Penna pendant is available in natural and dark stained walnut and in two sizes (40” and 64”).
