Tarkett Collections Infinies
Product > Flooring: Hard
Collections Infinies is the first digitally printed vinyl tile (LVT) from worldwide flooring leader Tarkett and features designs from internationally renowned artists including Suzanne Tick of Suzanne Tick Inc., Krista Ninivaggi of K&Co, D.B. Kim, 2 x4 and Stefan Sagmeister of Sagmeister & Walsh. Collections Infinies is the latest example of Tarkett’s historical commitment to challenging the status quo through innovative and creative design techniques.
Traditionally, flooring has been offered in a standard series of colors and patterns. Collections Infinies was created to revolutionize this process and bring collaboration to the flooring industry. Through its proprietary co-creation tool, Collections Infinies enables both architects and designers to personalize designs using specific color palettes for each layer.
Collections Infinies was inspired by Collections Privées, which launched in Europe in 1999, featuring globally renowned collaborators including Andree Putnam, Jean Nouvel and Tom Dixon. In 2015, Tarkett elected to revisit the concept of Collections Privées through Collections Infinies. Tarkett introduced four Collections Infinies designs at NeoCon 2016 including creations by Suzanne Tick, Krista Ninivaggi, 2x4 and D.B. Kim. A fifth design will be introduced from Stefan Sagmeister in fall 2016.
